Happy Thanksgiving!
In honour of the American holiday, we would like to share with you the story of a special Romanian-American-Moldovan family. Bill & Naty Tully are leaders of an international church in Bucharest, and their lives demonstrate particularly well the meaning of the following verses about gratitude: "God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work... You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God."
2 Corinthians 9:7b-8, 11
According to these verses, the grace of God enables us to be generous, which in turn leads to thanksgiving. The Tullys are a wonderful example of this, as Bill & Naty generously chose to share their home with two foster daughters. Now they celebrate with thanksgiving the two daughters that God has allowed to become a permanent part of their family!
